Join Kaitlyn for the Beaver Full Moon Circle & Flow~We begin with the Moon Series (Chandra Namaskar) — a circular, meditative salutation to the moon. The body moves like the tides: opening, yielding, and flowing in rhythm with the breath. Side stretches awaken the ribs like moonbeams spreading across still water; lunges and forward folds invite surrender and release. As you circle through the moon sequence, imagine tracing the glowing arc of the moon itself — radiant, patient, whole.
From this flow, we transition into earthy, grounding postures that mirror the beaver’s steady labor:
• Malasana (Garland Pose) — connecting deeply to the earth, symbolizing the builder’s focus and balance.
• Utkata Konasana (Goddess Pose) — honoring resilience and rooted feminine energy.
• Virabhadrasana II (Warrior II) — channeling strength, determination, and calm.
Then, we soften. The second half of the class becomes a journey inward — a quiet honoring of the beaver’s wisdom: to build with care, then rest within what you’ve created.
Gentle hip openers like Baddha Konasana (Bound Angle) or Ananda Balasana (Happy Baby) release what’s been stored in the body.
In Supta Matsyendrasana (Supine Twist), we wring out the last remnants of tension, preparing the heart for stillness.
Finally, we arrive in restorative surrender — Supta Baddha Konasana or Supported Savasana — cocooned beneath a blanket, as though in the safety of a beaver’s lodge. Here, the breath becomes soft and full, the moonlight within glows quietly, and the body remembers the beauty of simply being.
The second half of class we invite you to join us under the glow of the Full Moon for a sacred circle of reflection and release. Together, we’ll honor what has come to fruition, let go of what no longer serves, and open our hearts to renewal beneath the moon’s radiant light. We look forward to seeing you there! Sign up on GLOFOX or mdyny.com @day.diablo @ut.kait.asana
Dress comfy and bring any extra support you would like including pillows, blanket, journal etc!
We look forward to seeing you 🔥

Ashtanga Yoga is a traditional and dynamic practice that unites breath, movement, and focus to build strength, flexibility, and inner awareness. Rooted in ancient yoga philosophy, Ashtanga follows a set sequence of postures designed to purify and balance the body and calm the mind through rhythmic, breath-linked flow. Each practice becomes a moving meditation, cultivating discipline, strength, and a deeper connection to self. Ashtanga offers a transformative journey for practitioners seeking growth both on and off the mat.
Mysore style yoga, featured in our Open Studio class, is the traditional method of practicing Ashtanga Yoga as it is taught in Mysore, India. In this self-paced class, each student moves through the set sequence of postures at their own rhythm. The teacher guides each student with individual instruction and hands-on adjustments. This personalized approach allows for steady progress, deeper awareness, and a meditative connection to breath, graze and posture (Tristana Method). Rooted in lineage and oral tradition, Mysore style practice honors the sacred teacher-student relationship (paramparā), supporting each practitioner’s unique journey toward balance, strength, and inner stillness.
The program is run by Audrey Rose Joseph, whose credentials include training with some of the most renowned Ashtangis in the Ashtanga community, including but not limited to Kino MacGregor, Tim Feldmann, and Joseph Armstrong.

My yoga journey began 9 years ago while seeking emotional healing and a deeper mind body connection. I believe that yoga gives people the opportunity to connect to oneself mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I received my 200HR training in 2022 and immediately began teaching. I am truly humbled to be given the opportunity to teach daily, sharing with others, my knowledge of the medicinal benefits that a daily practice can present to one’s mind, body, and spirit. I like to bring a mix of power vinyasa, ab work, Pilates, deep breathing and meditation to my flows, along with an eclectic playlist. Forever a student, continuing to practice amongst my fellow teachers and students is an absolute must.

Audrey Rose truly believes in the transformative power of yoga. She has experienced the power first hand after using yoga to mentally spiritually and physically recover from a life changing car accident. As she continues on her journey towards wholeness, she believes it is important to value not just the physical but all eight limbs of yoga to attain the full benefits of the practice. Deepening the connection of the mind (dhyāna, meditation), body (asana, the physical practice of poses) and spirit (prana, the breath and life force) is the path to igniting the light within us all. She believes that each person is gifted with a purpose on this earth. We must first build a meaningful relationship with ourselves and our purpose will find us. She acknowledges that all our past experiences have brought us to this moment of love and total acceptance. Audrey Rose is trained in Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative yoga. Receiving her 200-RYT from Aligned Yoga, studying under two of AloMoves best instructors, Briohny Smyth (lead teacher) and Mathieu Boldron. She calls Newburgh her home and is thrilled to be part of the Meltdown Yoga team.

There, she spent two transformative years living, working, and learning under swamis and visiting monks, immersing herself in the spiritual depths of the practice.
