Meltdown is an urban yoga studio located in the heart of the city. We offer a variety of classes from Hot Power with the room heated to 105° to mellow and relaxing Yin style classes. Welcome to all levels, we have experienced instructors offering modifications, and hands on assists.

Meltdown Yoga Schedule

Spring 2025

HOT VINYASA HYBRID (heated 90-100°) all levels welcome.  A mix of yoga styles creating our signature Hybrid Vinyasa. 45 or 60 minute medium to fast paced flow beginning with a warm-up and ending with a Savasana linking breath with movement. Creating moments of stillness to find balance 

and alignment within each pose. Expect an eclectic playlist individualized to each instructor. 


HOT SLOWBURN VINYASA (heated 90-95°) all levels welcome. Slow controlled flow linking breath with movement. Strength and flexibility are taught at a slower pace. 


HOT POWER FLOW (heated 100-105°) all levels welcome. An invigorating, fast pace class linking one breath to each movement. High intensity, conditioning movements to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and breath. Eclectic playlist on full blast.


BLACKOUT (heated 100-105°) all levels welcome. A Power Flow in a blacked out room. Flowing under the glow of the infrareds. Bring a towel!


HOT PILATES (heated 90-95°) all levels welcome. A full body workout using a repetitive high intensity low impact format designed to strengthen muscles, and create muscular exertion. Controlled movements used to lengthen and sculpt the body. 


HOT SUNRISE FLOW (heated 90-95°) all levels welcome. A 45 minute morning flow for the early risers. Warm up, flow, cool down, and Savasana.


HOT 26/2 EXPRESS (105°) all levels welcome. A 45 minute EXPRESS traditional Bikram class with 26 postures, and two breathing techniques. (no mirrors) perfect for anyone with injury, advanced yogis, deepening their practice or anyone beginning your yoga journey. No Flow. Static posture only. 


WARM STRETCH & FLOW (non-heated) all levels welcome, low intensity exercises, helping to increase the total range of motion within the muscle joints and soft tissues, helping to release tension. Lengthening and strengthening the body, allowing for smooth and efficient movement.


DEEP STRETCH ( non-heated) all levels welcome. 45 to 60 minute deeply restorative practice focusing on longer holds and total body stretches. A calm and relaxing space to let go of tension. Focus on your breath and let all your stresses disappear.


RESTORE & REJUVENATE (non-heated) all levels welcome. Our gentle recovery class based on the Yin style, allowing the body to deepen in a sustainable and compassionate way. Longer held postures with support along with breathing and meditation techniques. Props are provided.


MELLOW HATHA FLOW (non-heated) all levels welcome. Mellow Monday evening flow. Slow, intentional posture, alignment, grounding, mindfulness, and breath work. Excellent for beginners or advanced students looking to deepen their practice without the heat.


HOT YIN (90°) All levels welcome. A 45 minute warm and grounding yoga experience incorporating a Yin style class mixed with the infrared heat, allowing the body to soften and melt into various poses. Based on ancient Chinese medicine working with the body’s, yin tissues. Creating length in the ligaments, tendons, and fascia. Improves flexibility and range of motion. Deepens relaxation and promotes stress reduction. Promotes circulation and lymphatic drainage. Enhancing self-awareness and creating a strong mind-body connection


YOGALATES (95-100) All levels welcome. A fusion of Yoga and Pilates focusing on core engagement, strength, flexibility, and mobility to tone and sculpt the body. Combined with elements of Yoga, focusing on the breath, keeping the mind in the room and raising your overall vibration. 45 minute class creating strength, endurance, and balance. Incorporating props, weight bands and sliders during the class.

RESTORATIVE YOGA  (non heated) All levels welcome. Step out of the noise, and into stillness. This 45 minute midday class offers a deeply restful experience, through long-held, fully supported postures designed to calm the nervous system and gently unwind tension. Each session ends with live sound. Crystal bowls, chimes, and other meditative instruments. To ease you into a tranquil dream like state.

I believe that yoga gives people the opportunity to connect to oneself mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I received

My yoga journey began 9 years ago while seeking emotional healing and a deeper mind body connection. I believe that yoga gives people the opportunity to connect to oneself mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I received my 200HR training in 2022 and immediately began teaching. I am truly humbled to be given the opportunity to teach daily, sharing with others, my knowledge of the medicinal benefits that a daily practice can present to one’s mind, body, and spirit. I like to bring a mix of power vinyasa, ab work, Pilates, deep breathing and meditation to my flows, along with an eclectic playlist. Forever a student, continuing to practice amongst my fellow teachers and students is an absolute must.

Audrey Rose truly believes in the transformative power of yoga. She has experienced the power first hand after using yoga to mentally spiritually and physically recover from a life changing car accident. As she continues on her journey towards wholeness, she believes it is important to value not just the physical but all eight limbs of yoga to attain the full benefits of the practice. Deepening the connection of the mind (dhyāna, meditation), body (asana, the physical practice of poses) and spirit (prana, the breath and life force) is the path to igniting the light within us all. She believes that each person is gifted with a purpose on this earth. We must first build a meaningful relationship with ourselves and our purpose will find us. She acknowledges that all our past experiences have brought us to this moment of love and total acceptance. Audrey Rose is trained in Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative yoga. Receiving her 200-RYT from Aligned Yoga, studying under two of AloMoves best instructors, Briohny Smyth (lead teacher) and Mathieu Boldron. She calls Newburgh her home and is thrilled to be part of the Meltdown Yoga team.

I was introduced to Pilates during my teenage years and quickly became fascinated with the mind-body connection that Pilates fosters. Over the years, I have found immense value in the functional strength and mobility the practice promotes. I recently earned my certification as a Pilates Mat instructor under Juliet Harvey at Beacon Pilates and, am furthering my expertise by working to become a certified NCSF personal trainer. I am excited about this new chapter in my life and see my role, not just as an instructor, but as a motivator and guide, helping others unearth, their hidden potential.

Kaitlyn’s yoga journey began in 2018 when she moved to a traditional Hatha ashram. There, she spent two transformative years living, working, and learning under swamis and visiting monks, immersing herself in the spiritual depths of the practice. After the ashram closed in 2020, Kaitlyn returned to her home in Boulder, Colorado, where she


Kaitlyn’s yoga journey began in 2018 when she moved to a traditional Hatha ashram. There, she spent two transformative years living, working, and learning under swamis and visiting monks, immersing herself in the spiritual depths of the practice. After the ashram closed in 2020, Kaitlyn returned to her home in Boulder, Colorado, where she continued her Vedic studies and deepened her practice.

In 2021, Kaitlyn moved to the Pacific Northwest, where she began teaching Vinyasa and Yin classes at local studios. She completed her 200-hour teacher training in 2023 through Green Yoga International in Mallorca, Spain, before relocating to the Hudson Valley, where she now calls home.

Today, Kaitlyn teaches Hatha, Yin, and Iyengar-influenced Vinyasa, while also leading women’s workshops and moon circles. While she deeply appreciates the physical benefits of asana, it is the sangha (community) that she cherishes most. She considers it an honor to guide others through sacred movement and is excited to continue teaching and growing within the Meltdown community.

A yoga flow focused on the cleansing and releasing powers of fire starting with a fast pace Vinyasa flow followed by a restorative Gentle Flow to bring in positive energy and relaxing vibes. The first half of the class is heated with quartz infrared heaters between 90 and 95°
